About Me

Why I became a coach?

I believe that exercise is medicine.

Working as a doctor for over 10 years, I have always been passionate about helping people be better. However, I often felt frustrated as I would not have the time or opportunity to really explore this with my patients. My patients would also complain that they were often bombarded with so much conflicting information and advice and they didn’t know what to believe or who to trust.

That is why I became a coach and personal trainer. I want to use my own personal experience, medical expertise and fitness knowledge to provide you with reliable, trustworthy advice to help you become the stronger, fitter, healthier version of you that you want to be!

And make sure you have some fun whilst doing so!

My Mission

I’m on a mission to help professional women, particularly Women of Colour, get fit, strong and healthy!

Why?

As professional Women of Colour, we are already often the minority in our industries, but we know representation matters. I want to use my position to encourage more WOC to get moving, improve their health and reach their full potenital.

WOC have a poorer experience of health and poorer health outcomes in many western countries, so it is crucial that we prioritise and promote our health! Because if we don’t who will.

We have our own unique experience of life and society, including our health, bodies and fitness. And trust me I can relate!

From stressful jobs, imposter syndrome and code switching to managing your hair in the gym or enjoying traditional food with family. All whilst trying to improve our health and bodies, and don’t forget and have a life too…it’s tough I know. But I got you!
